The 7th congress of the 8th edition of the School of Leadership is behind us!
On May 13-14, we once again had the honor of meeting with distinguished guests, discussing topics important in the areas of geopolitics, energy, infrastructure or defense.
On Saturday morning, May 13, we started with a lecture by Michal Zhukowski – owner of Innteo Legal and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Stomil Olsztyn S.A.. Mr. Michal talked about why he invested in a sports club on which he makes no money.
General Waldemar Skrzypczak admitted that he is a command practitioner, not a scientist. Command was taught to him and other soldiers … the training ground.
Piotr Cieszewski – leadership trainer, in a lecture full of positive emotions, told based on his experience what is the role of a leader in a team and project. The audience also had the opportunity to understand what motivation is in practice and what it has to do with his expedition to Mount Everest.
Anna Kielisiak – Global EFQM Program Manager at Signify, introduced the audience to what the mysterious-sounding “excellence model” is and how it supports today’s leaders in business decisions. Ms. Anna pointed out, based on the words of Vince Lombardi, that perfection is unattainable, but by chasing perfection… we can achieve excellence.
Jadwiga Emilewicz. During the lecture, the Minister presented what the biggest challenges Poland has to face in the near future. J. Emilewicz also spoke about what are the possible scenarios in the ongoing conflict on Ukrainian territory and why it is necessary for the democratic world to win Ukraine.
Jakub Wiech – editor-in-chief of Energetyka24.com, who spoke about how individual countries use climate policies to advance their interests and build economic advantages.
At the end of the 7th congress, there was a lecture by Anna Maria Dyner – an expert on Belarus and Russia from The Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM). We heard about the broader security of critical infrastructure in Poland and the large-scale disinformation campaigns conducted by Russia.
